[Editorial note: A film inspired by the novel, Le Casino de Barbazan, by the French writer Pierre Benoit. This film was made in North Korea in March 2006 during the last visit King Sihanouk paid to that country.]

[Editorial note: This film was made in North Korea in March 2006 and is dedicated to President Kim Djong Il of North Korea. The film (“Reborn” in English) was conceived by Norodom Sihanouk after the daughter of a bourgeoisie family in Cambodia claimed to have been “reborn” as the favourite daughter of Sihanouk, HRH Princess Norodom Kantha Bopha, who died of a brutal leukaemia aged 4 in 1952.]

[Editorial note: The idea for this film seems to have come to Norodom Sihanouk following a controversy over same sex marriage which took place in Cambodia and during which King Sihanouk came out in support of gay rights.]

[Editorial note: This film does not have a script and is more of a documentary showing the beauty of the Phnom Koulen mountain and waterfall as well as some dances specially choreographed for the Royal Ballet by Princess Norodom Buppha Devi, Curator of the Royal Ballet and eldest daughter of Norodom Sihanouk.]
