Subject: This film is a love story between a farmer’s son and the young daughter of a wealthy “Neak Oknha” who are students of agronomy at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. The young man does not wish to become a high official in the government and prefers to be a rice farmer. As he fears that his proposed marriage to the wealthy Neak Oknha’s daughter may not take place because of his decision, he goes to Angkor and prays to Buddha to help him.
